UPSはたいへんです九時や十時にでかけてです。

じゅぎおは十時にはじまりましたから私はじゅぎおうでべんきよしません。でもコンプウタアラブととしょかんではなします。


私のUPSのせんぱいはジョンソンサンデス。せがたかくないです。ジョンソンさんはよくめがねをかけています。

Most of class was spent on the overhead going over the AはBがC　sentence structure as well as the adjective てform　on pp334-336.

More vocabulary not in the book.
おじさん＝uncle
おばさん＝aunt

note that these are shortened versions of おじいさん＆おばあさん（grandfather and grandmother respectively) so care must be taken in pronunciation. Several of us made this error in class today.

Class focus today was 323-327 with a focus on "ordinal" counters setting hierarchy eg:where does one stand in order amongst ones siblings.

Bring a picture or representation of ones family on 木曜日。Be ready to talk about ones family as per p323-325.

I'll post examples later if possible but now must head to class.

We started なかまChapter 10 today, closely covering pages 316-319 and 323-324. Pay attention to the culture notes on 322 as it discusses in-groups and out-groups, a very important concept from this point on.

Keep in mind the terms in the 2 family-flow-charts on pp317 ARE NOT INTERCHANGEABLE. The terms are exclusive to your family and everyone elses respectively.

I don't know what humble and polite forms are in this context.　I intend to ask プツニ先生 tomorrow.

Be ready to talk about peoples personal appearance, distinguishing characteristics and what everyone is wearing tomorrow in the lab. Exercise B pp317 through all of pp319.

Yes, you should know how to say "タルトンさん is fat" in Japanese....　:)
Note too that the preceding post was a sad attempt at typing what we were expected to know at the end of class while it was still fresh....mostly talking about ones family.
